To celebrate 35 years of Kinross Ladies Hockey Club, we threw a little party at the Windlestrae Hotel, Kinross on Saturday 26th September 2009. Some 100 or so people enjoyed a nice meal followed by live music and a dj set to dance the night away. It was great to see so many KLHC members past, present, young and old together with their friends and family. 

Our thanks go to the organising committee and to Graeme, the president of Kinross Rugby Club, for all their efforts in making this event such a success. Special mention must go to the surprise rendition of "Thank you for the Hockey" (sang to the Abba tune "Thank you for the music") from club President Mo and her merry band (Mags, Nell and Elaine) which was a tribute to all the ladies (and the occasional lad) who have made the club such a success to date.

Thanks to all those people who bought tickets, came along, supplied raffle prizes and purchases raffle tickets. Your efforts have helped us raise £1000.00 for charity in memory of Greig Smith (16) who sadly died from cancer in June 2009. The monies raised have been split between CHAS (Childrens Hospice Association Scotland) and TCCL (Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia) as suggested by Greig's family.
