History: Kinross Ladies Hockey Club was formed in August 1974 with the aim of fostering and encouraging the game of hockey in Kinross. We are pleased to advise that after 36 years this remains our key objective and that the club has gone from strength to strength. From the humble beginnings of borrowed strips and grass pitches we have become a 2-team club delighted to be able to play our home games on an artifical surface here in Kinross and with the use of the Kinross Rugby Clubhouse for our match teas. Our members range from 14 years of age to 60, and we are very proud to still have 2 original founding members actively playing league hockey today.
Membership: We have 4 membership categories at present: adult, student, schoolgirl and social. All members are subject to the Constitition of the Club and the regulations of the Scottish Hockey Union. Membership allows you to play matches for the club, including memberships of the Scottish Hockey Union; will give you access to Kinross Rugby Clubhouse; and offers 10% discount on hockey gear from Sporting Chance in Kinross (proof of membership is required).
